Wine Critics Notes:
Allen Meadows - Score: 91-94(2019 June)
This is aromatically restrained almost to the point of being mute and only aggressive swirling liberates the floral, citrus and white peach-suffused aromas. The mouth feel of the dense and voluminous flavors is wonderfully refined and sophisticated while exhibiting strikingly good intensity and persistence on the chiseled, balanced and powerful finale. This mineral-driven effort is packed with potential but not surprisingly is very backward today and a wine that will need all of a decade to arrive at its peak.
